Natural landscapes: winter in the Milk River Valley

HOODOOS AT WRITING ON STONE PROVINCIAL PARK, ALBERTA, CANADA

It’s a looooong 3.5-drive from my home in Calgary to this park, near the U.S. border. But as you can see, the drive was definitely worth it. It’s quite the experience to go from relatively dull and flat prairie to the stunning visual of hundreds upon hundreds of snow-covered hoodoos. Definitely a place I plan to visit in summer.  Nikon D7100, tripod, polarizing filter.
